Fairy Celebration Blinged Out
This is it! This is the card I designed in my head my moment I saw the stamp set. I love layers and dimension and this card has it!! It is a little more involved that my previous projects, but don’t worry, it’s still not that difficult to create. If I can do it, anyone can! The fairy is stamped on our watercolor paper; I highly recommend this. I cut her out, the flower stems are very delicate and the watercolor paper is thick enough to handle it. I honestly think had I used cardstock the flowers would have torn. I then stamped the design on different patterns of the Blooms & Bliss Designer Series Paper (DSP) – another one of my favorites – and cut out the three flowers, wings and mushroom top. The rest is colored using stamp pads and an Aqua Painter. (Painting this way is super easy, just squeeze the stamp pad prior to opening it, then pick up color from the lid with Aqua Painter)
I hope you love this card as much as I do! I made them for the swap for my Up-Line’s monthly meeting, it did take all afternoon to make multiple cards. The fussy cutting is what takes the longest, but I just turned on some music and started cutting, before I knew it I was all done.
