Welcome!

I’m Lyndi Begen, a
Stampin’ Up!
Demonstrator.

I have been a demonstrator or about 10 years, I took a couple of years off in the middle when work took over.  But I’m back full time to what I love, creating!!

First, let me tell you a little about me.  I’ve been married to the most wonderful man on this planet for the past 26 years.  Geoff and I met while working together at an insurance company, I was the receptionist and he was the computer geek.  It was the late 80’s and I barely could use a mouse, so needless to say, I was super impressed.  Our daughter, Jessie, is 25 and works as a Veterinarian Assistant.  She has given me two grand puppies, which I love dearly as long as they are at her house.  While Jessie was in school I worked part time with the school district as an aide for special education students.  I job which I dearly loved and deeply miss.  I transitioned into a full time position in the district office and it just took over my life and I found that I had very little time or energy for the passion of stamping and crafting.  After a lot of thought and agonizing over the scary decision to quit my job, Geoff and I decided that it was time to transition to full time Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator.  I am very excited for this change, and really look forward to an exciting new adventure and all the new friends I’m sure I will make in this endeavor.

I love simple creations with immediate results.  I’m not one to spend days on one project.  Stampin’ Up! Is a great outlet for my type of stamper.  With one piece of cardstock, one ink pad and one stamp set you can make beautiful creations that people love and think that it was so difficult for you to create (I say, let them think this!!)  But, if you want to jazz it up a bit, just add another color of card stock, a piece of ribbon, or the ever popular BLING!!  It’s so easy to do, and with how Stampin’ Up! Colors all match, you don’t have to worry about finding the exact color of ribbon to match the color of cardstock you have chosen for your creation.

My plan is to design a simple card with a minimum amount of supplies required for the beginner stamper.  I will then show a jazzed up version with just adding one or two embellishments and finally a totally BLINGED out version for the daring creator.  I will link to my Stampin’ Up! Site so that you can purchase the items required to make each card.  However, if you are like me and don’t have space for all the consumables, I will put together kits that include cardstock, ribbon, etc. that can be purchased along with the stamp set, inks, etc. from Stampin’ Up!  It is my goal to make these kits affordable so that everyone who wants to can join me in my passion for creating beautiful cards and projects.

Enough talking, let’s get to creating.  Please visit my blog weekly for new projects and share with your friends.  I would also enjoy hearing from you, please email me or join my facebook group.
