Fairy Celebration Jazzed Up

I really am loving this set!!  It can be used to make the simplest of designs and believe me, much more complicated ones as well.  Today’s card is on the simple side with just a few more embellishments, and who doesn’t love embellishments?  Again, I just used the Thick Whisper White Cardstock as my base.  I like using the thick cardstock when it’s the base of the card, it really makes for a much sturdier card, just like when you use the colored cardstock.  The regular Whisper White Cardstock is great for layering and to put on the inside of a darker colored card.  For this card I am also using Designer Series Paper (DSP), I am very excited about the new DSPs in the catalog.  I’ve already ordered most of them and can’t wait to use them all.  This week I used Blooms & Bliss DSP for both today’s and Friday’s cards.  On Monday, I mentioned that I’m still designing in my head with the Fairy Celebration set, well, I am also designing with the Blooms & Bliss DSP, it is absolutely gorgeous and I can’t wait to use every design.  I’m thinking I need to make a few more of this card.  I want to send it to my grandmother who is recovering from a fall, but I also want to keep it for myself.
