Painter's Palette Blinged Out
For today’s card, I have to admit, I’m using an idea direct from Stampin’ Up! I have so many ideas in my head, I had a difficult time narrowing it down and just doing one thing. So it was nice that Stampin’ Up! was able to give me my inspiration this time. That is one thing I absolutely love about the catalogs, you can get so many ideas, even if it’s just color combinations.
I used the following items available from my store at Stampin’ Up!:
- Painter's Palette Stamp Set
- Clear Blocks – E
- Peekaboo Peach Classic Stampin’ Pad
- Emerald Envy Classic Stampin’ Pad
- Very Vanilla 8 ½ x 11 Cardstock
- Playful Palette Designer Series Paper
- Playful Palette Washi Tape
- Thick Baker’s Twine – Very Vanilla
- Snail Adhesive
- Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Mini Glue Dots
Below are the instructions for this card:
- Cut a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock to 8 ½ x 5 ½ , score at 4 ¼ and fold.
- Cut a piece of Designer Series Paper 5 ¼ x 4 and adhere to front of card.
- Stamp easel on piece of Very Vanilla using Emerald Envy and fussy cut around the outside of the frame, removing the top and legs.
- Stamp easel on piece of Very Vanilla using fussy cut inside of frame to remove the entire stamped image, leaving just the square piece.
- Stamp sentiment in center of square piece using the Peekaboo Peach, and adhere to inside of frame using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Adhere frame to card using Snail Adhesive.
- Apply a strip of Washi Tape to top of frame.
- Tie a bow with the Baker’s Twine and adhere with Mini Glue Dot.
I mentioned before that I love to fussy cut, but as I also mentioned, available June 1st are the Layering Square Framelits, these will be perfect for this project. On June 1st when I post the links for the supplies, I will be sure to include the Framelits.
