Love & Affection Blinged Out
I love Stampin’ Up!’s Designer Serious Paper. The colors in the designs match the paper and inks perfectly, which makes them great for layering on a card. For this card I used the Affectionately Yours Specialty Designer Serious Paper which has two sheets with beautiful copper accents. The colors and designs of each page are absolutely gorgeous. Whether you are a scrapbooker, cardmaker or both, you will fall in love (if you haven’t already) with Stampin’ Up!’s DSP!! (Designer Series Paper)

- Thick Baker’s Twine – Whisper White

- Snail Adhesive
Putting this card together was very simple:
- Using a single sheet of Night of Navy Card Stock, cut in half then score and fold in half to create your card. Cut a piece of DSP 4 x 5 1/4, wrap Baker’s Twine around DSP and tie in a bow, layer on top of the Night of Navy using your Snail Adhesive.
- Cut a piece of Whisper White Thick Cardstock 2 ¾ x 3 ½ .
- Using the Textured Impressions Embossing Folders, place the white cardstock at an angle and run through the Big Shot.
- Cut a piece of Watermelon Wonder 2 ½ x 1.
- Stamp sentiment of Watermelon Wonder with the Watermelon Classic Ink pad.
- Cut right side of cardstock to make the banner.
- Stamp leaves on the white cardstock with Mint Macaron Classic Ink pad.
- Adhere the white cardstock to the card with Snail, then adhere the banner with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Because it is difficult to read writing on the darker cardstocks, cut a piece of printer paper 4 x 5 ¼ and adhere to the inside of the card.
I’ve given you three ideas (Monday, Wednesday) using the one stamp set and just 3 colors. But the possibilities are endless, this set is very versatile and could be used with any sentiment for any occasion.
