Love & Affection
I am really enjoying working with the Love & Affection suite. Stampin’ Up! offers the stamp set, designer serious paper, washi tape and embossing folder that all coordinate!! This card may look difficult, but it really isn’t. I did fussy cut the flowers and leaves, but I picked the stamps with the least amount of detail for this, so it only took about 5 minutes to do all the cutting.
I used the following items available from my store at Stampin’ Up!:
- Love & Affection Stamp Set
- Clear Blocks – D
- Archival Stampin’ Pad – Basic Black
- Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Mini Glue Dots
- Fine Tip Glue Pen
- Snail Adhesive
- Whisper White 8 ½ x 11 Thick Card Stock
- Affectionately Yours Cardstock Pack
Putting this card together was very simple:
- Stamp using basic black 5 of each flower on Watermelon Wonder, 5 tiny flowers on Night of Navy and approx. 8 of each leaf on Mint Macaron.
- Fussy cut all stamped images.
- Using a single sheet of Whisper White Thick Card Stock, cut in half then score and fold in half to create your card.
- Stamp sentiment on lower right corner of card.
- Build your flowers: use Dimensionals between the two layers of flower and fine tip glue pen for the small flower on top.
- Using Dimensionals, adhere your flowers to the card.
- Using mini glue dots, place leaves where desired
It’s that simple!! 1 stamp set, 1 ink pad, 4 pieces of cardstock, and about 10 minutes and you have a beautiful card that everyone will think took you hours to create!!
