Seaside Shore Blinged Out

I love this unique fold for cards.  The Washi Tape holds down the sides and the little shells are adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals to hold the card open.  I'm not sure who's getting this card, I just had a lot of fun making it!  

I recently read a post from a fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator who asked what we all do with our cards after we making them.  She said she has three binders full.  I immediately thought, you have to give them away!  But then I remembered, I have two drawers full of cards.

Last weekend I took a class to improve my computer skills, the instructor asked who had a website and I raised my hand.  He asked what I did, I told him I make greeting cards.  He seemed puzzled, he wasn't sure what I meant.  I showed him a picture and he asked if an e-card would be easier.  I have to admit that just made me sad.  Don't get me wrong, I love e-cards and don't think any less of those that send them (and that includes me), but don't you think a hand-made card is much nicer and more appreciated.  

That being said, I vow from now on to send more cards! I can't believe I spend the time to make a card just to put it in a drawer.  I hope my story encourages you to do the same!  If your a seasoned card maker or a beginner, I'm sure you can think of someone that would love a hand-made card.
