Flower Shop
I’ve mentioned how much I love to fussy cut, however, a punch that goes with a stamp set is also fantastic!! For this project, I used the Flower Shop stamp set and the Pansy Punch to punch them out. It will help greatly to note; you should stamp them the way they are pictured on the box. This way the pedal that is pointing down will help line up the punch. I just used a “L” (for Lyndi) that I found at my local craft store, it was already painted white. I’ll I needed to do was stamp and punch out the flowers and adhere them with glue dots. I also used a little Silver Sparkle Dazzling Details in the center of the flowers that had a large white center. This was my first time covering something completely with flowers, the thing I would change next time, I would curl them more (I used a bone folder and slid the pedals between it and my thumb) and the bottom flowers I would not adhere so close to the bottom, so that the “L” could stand. This one I’ll hang up though. I also punch a few flowers with the Blushing Bride Glimmer paper to fill in some of the gaps. I’m really liking the look of this, and think I may also try butterflies and other stamp sets. I have lots of friends and family with different initials I could make this for.
