Blossoming Basket Bundle

I am the loving the Sale-a-Bration items.  This card is made with the Blossoming Basket Bundle, spend $100 and you will get the stamp set and embossing folder FREE! (But don't wait, Sale-a-bration ends 3/31) I kept this card on the simple side, I didn't want anything to take away from the beautiful stamp.  I used watercolor pencils and instead of using water to spread the color giving it that fabulous water colored look, I used a wink-a-stella glitter pen. 

So I have two confessions to make, first, a while back I was at a retreat with my good friend and fellow card marker, Poli, and she was watercoloring and said, "I'm going to try using wink-a-stella and see if that works."  She was so happy with the finished project, it turned out gorgeous and the glitter just added that extra pizzazz all projects need.  Second, when I designed this project for my classes last week, I wanted to keep it simple so I colored it with Stampin' Write Markers and was pleased with the results, all but one of my customers loved it.  One of my great customers and fellow crafters, Rayline, looked at it and said, "Would you mind if I used the watercolor pencils and wink-a-stella from the other project?"  Of course I didn't mind, and actually liked her results better than mine.  Mine was good, hers was great!  The original card a bow on it, but with adding the glitter, I felt the bow wasn't necessary.

I absolutely love teaching classes and getting together with others who love cardmaking, scrapbooking and really all kinds of crafts.  The best part of the classes is learning from my customers.  I don't really think they are students, we are all on the same playing field and learn from each other and have a fabulous time while doing it.
